CBSE Results 2026 โ official date and time
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially confirmed that Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results for 2026 will be announced on May 10, 2026. Both results will be declared on the same day. Expected time: 10:00 AM IST for Class 12 and 12:00 PM IST for Class 10. This is based on official communication from CBSE โ no further date change is anticipated.
Over 36 lakh students appeared for CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2026. The exams were conducted February 15 to March 25, 2026. Answer scripts have been evaluated and marks are in the tabulation stage. CBSE has maintained strict confidentiality โ no leaks reported this year.
How to check your CBSE result on May 10
Official websites to check result: (1) cbseresults.nic.in โ primary official portal. (2) results.cbse.nic.in โ alternative official site. (3) DigiLocker app โ download now and link your Aadhaar, your marksheet will appear automatically. (4) UMANG app โ results section supports CBSE. (5) SMS: Type CBSE10 <roll number> <school code> and send to 7738299899 for Class 10. Use CBSE12 for Class 12.
What to do after results: If you score above 90% โ apply to top colleges immediately, Delhi University cut-offs are announced within 48 hours. If you are unhappy with your marks โ apply for re-evaluation within 7 days of result declaration (fee: โน100 per subject for photocopy, โน500 per subject for re-checking). Compartment exams for students who did not pass will be announced within 10 days of main result.
